Here’s another bit of creativity from my daughter. Things like this usually happen when I let my kids get bored… really bored… in ready access to craft materials. I love what they come up with! Such detail and so cute. I adore the oversized toothbrush on the floor in the bathroom, but my favourite bit of this house is that colourful bookshelf.
She made everything herself, completely unaided (except the little dolls, which were a gift to her from a friend). I suspect she has been influenced by the work of Lauren Child, particularly a book we have about The Princes and the Pea. It’s exquisite, and I highly recommend it, not only for the gorgeous collages and photography, but also for the very Lauren Child-esque retelling of the story. So much fun!
